Why You Are Important
Many employers
know that a liberal arts education prepares
students for thriving careers in many
fields. The National Association of Colleges
and Employers (NACE) surveyed employers
across the country, showing that employers
look for transferable skills, such as
written and verbal communication skills, the
ability to solve problems, and the ability
to work well with others--skills which are
characteristics of an education within the
College of Liberal Arts.
