recruiting events sponsored by the Career
Development Center. See accompanying links for
complete details for the upcoming year.
MTSU 2009 Fall Career Fair

Registration is closed
October 7, 2009, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.--Murphy Center
Track Level
MTSU's largest on-campus
career fair for the academic year. Registration is
$200. Meet over 1,200 students from MTSUs 7
colleges including Basic and Applied Sciences,
Business, Education and Behavioral Science, Honors,
Liberal Arts, Mass Communication, and Graduate
Studies. The Fall Career Fair is open to employers
who offer full-time career-related employment, co-op
and internship opportunities. Graduate /Professional
Schools are invited to participate to provide
students with admission information on their
programs. This fair does not target non-career
related opportunities (see Internships & Summer Jobs
Fair).

Nursing Career Fair
November 2, 2009--Cason
Kennedy Nursing Building
The The Nursing Career Fair is
held each Fall
for students in nursing and health-related career
fields. Representatives from hospitals, nursing
homes, home health care agencies, government
agencies and service organizations participate. This
fair is for full-time, career-related positions
only. Graduate and professional schools are
invited to attend the Fall Career Fair (above).

MTSU Community Teacher Fair
Fall 2009 TBD--2nd
Floor KUC Lobby
The semi-annual Neighborhood Teacher Fair is held at
the end of each semester for graduating student
teachers. Local school districts will hold
information tables and/or conduct on-campus
interviews.

Internships & Summer Jobs Fair
February 9, 2010-Murphy Center Track Level
This year the Internships & Summer Jobs Fair is
combined into one larger fair and will be held in
the Murphy Center. Representatives
of camps, parks, businesses and government agencies
attend to recruit students
for summer
jobs, part-time employment, internships, and
cooperative education.

Nashville Area College to Career Fair is sponsored
by a consortium of area universities and is held in
Nashville each spring for prospective graduates from
each participating university. Employers from
business and government provide employment
information and accept resumes from candidates.

by a consortium of area universities and is held

Aerospace Fair

The annual Aerospace
Career Fair at MTSU is one of the premier collegiate
aviation career fairs in the nation. Students from
all five Aerospace concentrations can meet with air
taxi operators; aviation maintenance providers;
commercial-service and general aviation airports;
mainline and regional airlines; corporate flight
departments; manufacturers; FBOs; local, state, and
federal agencies; and more. Sponsored by the MTSU
Future Airport Executives and the Department of
Aerospace.
